THE EMERGING SCHOLAR
At the very beginning of your experience as a Renaissance Scholar, you will begin to design your end game plan for career identification and college choices. Assessments will create awareness around your dreams, aspirations, and talents, give you insights in your personality and emotional intelligence, and help you define what areas need some improvement to reach success.
From test taking skills, workshops on career development, financial literacy training, and incorporating the summer core (math, English, foreign language, and science), our key strategy is to increase your academic competencies that lead to success. Our program offering is robust and intense. But "scholars need socialization" as well, so as a group, we enjoy social and cultural outings as well.
Renaissance Scholars are well read, well spoken, well traveled, well dressed, and well balanced. To that end, we learn about societal issues, learn and practice good etiquette skills for our formal events, and engage in opportunities for leadership development with the group experience. Being comfortable with some of these soft skills tip the scales for those who are ready to embrace the world and its choices. We will stand with you to master these critical skills.
